New York City is always an exciting place to visit. It’s our country’s cultural center on the east coast and offers resources unavailable anywhere else. Performing here has always been an event to look forward to, and our performance at the Highline Ballroom leaves me with unforgettable memories. This time we opened for Perpetual Groove from Athens, Georgia.
This show stuck out as a learning experience, more than the rest. The reasons being as I mentioned before NYC being the great city it is, I myself had a climactic day. The fans reflect the pulse of their city with eagerness and intensity to have a good time. As far as my day in New York, my eagerness and excitement for bass playing started off visiting my good friend Dave Avenius at Aguilar Amplification. I personally have two concert rigs by Aguilar Amplification and visiting their facility is similar to taking your car to the shop to add the latest in high performance parts.
